ECON 411 Policy Seminar in Economics

This course examines major streams of thought concerning the roles that government, markets, and other institutions should play in bringing about the maximum well being of society. Using professional economics literature, students then apply these ideas to a variety of policy issues. Prerequisite: This course is restricted to senior economics majors.
