David Scavone currently serves as the Finance Manager for the Atlanta Silverbacks Professional Soccer Team and their affiliate organizations. He is responsible for the cash flow management, accounting, and auditing functions for all Silverbacks entities including their professional team, indoor facility, restaurant, and stadium.
Prior to working for the Silverbacks, David was an analyst at Bank of America supporting their Energy, Sustainability, and Sourcing Teams. His largest contribution was developing the financial business case for Bank of America’s Intelligent Command and Control Center (iC3), which reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs by 15% in 3,000 retail facilities and was a 2009 finalist for CoreNet Global’s Industry Excellence Award for Technology. David also served as the chair for the Finance Management Associate Program's Community Service Committee.
David graduated summa cum laude from Sewanee in 2007. He is married to the former Rebecca Gaddis, who also graduated from Sewanee in 2007.
